Rowallan Castle

Located in the picturesque hills of the Ayrshire countryside, Rowallan Castle is situated about 3 miles north of Kilmarnock. The castle, which dates back to the 16th century was home to an important Ayrshire family, the Muirs, who counted writers, historians, composers and builders amongst their ranks.
