Mar Lodge

Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, 5 miles from Braemar, the National Trust for Scotland’s Mar Lodge offers the perfect retreat for an idyllic Highland wedding. Originally built for the Duke of Fife in 1895, the Lodge was designed in the Victorian country house style with warm pine-panelled walls. Ceremonies can be held in the elegant public rooms before dining and dancing in the unique Stag Ballroom. The estate also has accommodation for up to 61 guests.
