The Humanist Association Scotland exists to serve not only the people of Scotland but worldwide through the support of humanitarian causes, such as World Child Cancer (www.worldchildcancer.org) and SOS Children’s Villages (www.soschildrensvillages.org.uk). What is Humanism?

Humanism is a life stance based on freedom of choice and thought, and it focuses on those things that unite us all. Read more from the Amsterdam Declaration.

How is the Association funded?

We are primarily a self-funding not-for-profit organisation but we do welcome the donations we receive.

We generate funds through our work which includes – wonderful weddings joyous naming ceremonies caring and respectful funerals that celebrate the life that was.
